About Me.
HI! I'm Maya. I'm a college graduate, a woman in s.t.e.m., biologist, animal welfare professional, veterinary medicine industry employee, future veterinarian, chronic illness (endometriosis) survivor, ptsd and ocd survivor, and tbi survivor. I am an internationally published artist, published twice in the 2025 oakland arts review. I am passionate about animal welfare and conservation, am a licensed wildlife rehabber, and have always used my art as a coping strategy to help with stress and anxiety. My art has guided me through so many parts of life and continues to, and I love to share it! I now sell both originals and prints of my art through etsy, as well as in person as a vendor at oddity and night markets. I am an experienced event makeup artist, henna (mehndi) artist, visual artist, animal photographer, and pet care professional. This site is my place to bring together all my passions and skills!
